UD Acting for the Camera
Ms. VanHentenryck
For our Movie Monologue Adaptation project, students chose and rehearsed a movie monologue paying attention to characterization, objectives, tactics, and given circumstances.
Students then used their knowledge of camera angles, shot framing, and editing to film and produce their own short film adaptation of the monologue. Note: some monologues include some mild cursing. Please enjoy!
And in case their names aren't in their credits, they are: Liam, Evann, Jacob, Emily, Ben
Our second unit in Acting for the Camera focused on silent films.
Students watched some examples in class, and did a few acting exercises aimed at developing their physical expression and story telling on camera. They then, wrote, directed, filmed, performed, and edited their own short versions of the silent classics! Enjoy!
