Subject Specific Briefings

Subject Specific Curriculum Briefings will explore up-to-date research and debates that influence current subject thinking, the ITE subject curriculum design and assessment and key documentation in relation to trainee development and progress in a subject. The overarching aim of the briefings is to support evidence informed 'curriculum thinking'. Each briefing will therefore include;

* a brief summary of recent subject specific research provided by a subject expert

* sharing of subject curriculum maps and expectations including the key components trainees are expected to learn at each phase

* sharing of key subject documentation and exemplar materials
