Phil Mack

I have been married for 18 years to my wife Traci, and together we have 2 children, Anthony and Cassandra. I have been the pharmacist/owner of The Picture Butte Pharmacy for the last 17 years. I have been a member of the St. Catherine’s Parish for 15 years and during this time, I have served on the finance council for 4 different priests. I am currently a lector and serve as a member of the liturgy committee. I am also a member of the Picture Butte and District Lions club and The Picture Butte Chamber of Commerce.

I am serving to represent St. Catherine’s parish. I hope to advance Catholic based education for our local children by being a steward with good governance skills. I have no previous experience in this setting, but am willing to try my best. I feel the most important issue facing Catholic education is engagement. Administrators, teachers, parents, and the community members must be able to communicate effectively to ensure Catholic values remain a priority in the school setting. It is necessary to focus on engagement throughout the school system in order to support children’s needs in their continuing development.
