Brief Biography:
As previous Volunteer Sacramental Preparation Coordinator for St. Ambrose Parish, Secretary at our twinned Parish I value the opportunities parishes offer families and students.
As a parent, our children attended schools in the Holy Spirit Catholic School division, I supported our parent Council in various roles.
Why do you want to serve as a Trustee for Holy Spirit Catholic Schools?
Having served as Trustee for my community for my first term, I felt like the job was not finished, I could continue representing the students and parents in Coaldale. It is important to nurture our faith, and provide opportunities for our youth to grow in theirs.
In your opinion, what's the most important issue facing Catholic education today?
It is essential that we protect our choice in education in our province. We must ensure Catholic Education remains a choice for our parents and students.
Who was your most influential teacher/educator and why?
Mrs. Ober. She took the time to explain math to me in a way I could understand. I will never forget the feeling that I had once I understood that chapter.
