How do I enroll my child at Holy Cross Regional Secondary?
Parents must fill in an application form. Application forms are available on-line at www.holycross.bc.ca.
You will find the application under "About Us" "Admission Application".
Is there an application fee?
No there is no fee to apply to Holy Cross Regional Secondary.
What happens after I submit my child's application, what is the next step?
Applicants names are entered into a database. A list of applicants are sent to Holy Cross' region parish priests. The parish priest makes decisions regarding categories for families in his parish and signs accordingly. (For definitions of categories, please read through tuition and categories in this brochure.)
Information about acceptance to Holy Cross Regional Secondary
How and when will I know my child is accepted for Grade 8?
Accepted students will be contacted via e-mail. Instructions will be included with the e-mail regarding the registration process. Families can expect to receive an e-mail by mid-February.
What is the acceptance policy at Holy Cross Regional Secondary?
Siblings of present practicing catholic students.
Catholic students from the region.
Catholic students from parishes outside the region.
Siblings of present non-Catholic students.

Category 1
First Child: $425.00
Second Child: $400.00
Third Child: $370.00

First Child: $460.00

Each Child: $560.00
Tuition:
Category 1 - Member of a parish of the region. Authorized by your pastor to attend Holy Cross as per Pastor's Authorized form.
Category 2 - Member of a parish in or outside the region. Authorized by your Pastor to attend Holy Cross as per the Pastor's Authorization form.
Category 3 - Not a member of any Catholic Parish
Parent/Participation Program
Parent Participation Fee: $300.00 Families participating in the Parent/Participation Program will be refunded their $300.00 deposit when their last child graduates or if their child withdraws from Holy Cross providing work commitments have been honoured.
In-Lieu of Parent Participation Fee: $300.00 for every year a family does not wish to participate in the Parent/Participation Program.
Annual Fundraising Initiative
The Track-A-Thon is Holy Cross' major family and student participation fundraiser at Holy Cross. Families can donate to the fundraiser and/or collect pledges from the greater community.
Other Fees:
Registration Fee: $175.00 per student (to a maximum of $350.00 per family)
New Family Fee: $50.00
Capital Fee: $300.00 per year or $30.00 per month.
