History Goals and Competencies
PREAMBLE: We seek to develop a lifelong appreciation for the disciplines of history and the social sciences, an eagerness to learn more, and an appreciation for the experiences of others.
H1 - ANALYSIS
Students will be able to analyze primary and secondary sources

Students will be able to communicate their ideas clearly and persuasively.

H3-LSc. I can evaluate the reliability and credibility of sources according to the guidelines I’ve been provided.
H3-LSd. I can give credit to and acknowledge the work of others and determine when it is necessary to do so.
MIDDLE
H3-MSa. I can find and interpret information that I need in order to answer questions about the past, present, and future.
H3-MSb. I can give credit to and acknowledge the work of others and determine when it is necessary to do so.
