Scams come in many forms, such as phone calls, e-mails,  letters and via social media.

Common Types of Scams:

• IRS / Social Security

• Eversource, National Grid or other utility companies

• Requesting “Ransom” or “Bail” for injured or arrested relative 

• Promises of “free” hotel room, cruises, and other trips

• Using images or names from legitimate charities and organizations
