Juliana Abusheery and Inga Jung
We have chosen to work together because have a lot of the same interests and we are already close so it will be very easy to communicate daily with each other. We also are very passionate about Mental Health and we are excited to try and help as best as we can!
Juliana:

•In charge of creating the educational video, managing and posting on the Instagram, and communication with our partner.

We are partnering with “The Youth Mental health Project.” We chose this organization because it is accessible for teens with mental health issues. It is all online, making it easy for anyone who may be too nervous to talk to someone in person. This organization's goal is to educate, empower, and support families and communities to better understand and care for the mental health of our youth. A partnership like this organization is really going to help us spread awareness and help others.
We chose teen mental health as our community need. We chose this need because avoiding the topic of mental health among teens has always been a constant issue in our society. Some teens are scared, or maybe even embarrassed to ask for help. We believe that our community needs to realize that there are many teens out there that need help and we want to try and help them as best as we can.
For our project, we have a goal of raising at least 500 dollars for an organization called "The Youth Mental Health Project." We think that it is a reasonable goal, and even better if we could pass it. We also want to be able to spread the word around social media so that people will talk about it as a subject, this will shed some light on the issues at hand. In raising this money and getting the publicity we need, we hope that we can make it so this organization can publish the material that they wanted to put out, and will hopefully have the resources to do so. 3 weeks into our project we have raised 435 dollars for our organization, send it 100's of people, and created an educational video.
