Shae Sweeney - I am a senior at Holliston High. I am in interesting in pursuing a career in law enforcement and because of the reputation that so many police officers have, I have taken a special interest in gun control.

Will Morelli- I am a senior at Holliston High. While I am interested in pursuing a career in real estate and business, I have always been affected by these violent mass shootings. It is very hard for me to imagine that the parents of these kids bring their kids to school and never see them again due to these violent acts. Our goal with this project is to spread awareness about this very prominent issue.

Makayla Vittori- I'm am a Freshman at HHS, I'm thinking about pursuing a career in psychology. One of the main things that makes me really think when it comes to mass shootings is why people do it. I think it's very important to spread awareness about the topic because I feel like not much is ever done about it. If we can prevent people with mental illnesses from getting guns, maybe there would be less shootings.

We wanted to do gun control because we thought this was a very important topic to pursue. It hits home for us because so many people around our age group are effected by this in traumatic ways.

Our overall goals for our project is to raise awareness for this issue, and present what we think is a viable plan to help this growing issue. We are planning on emailing and sending letters to people who are in a place where they can advocate and potentially make changes with what we think is a viable plan going forward. We are also raising money for March For Our Lives, to help fund them and have them do what we cannot.
