Campus Access and Security Systems (CASS) issues Hofstra photo identification to the Hofstra community. CASS is currently implementing mobile credentials (HofPass), in place of a physical card allowing students to use a compatible mobile device, such as a smartphone or smartwatch. For more information on setting up your mobile credentials, please visit Hofstra.edu/hofpass
A valid Hofstra ID or HofPass is required to access residence halls, some academic buildings, and other campus facilities, including the Fitness Center, Hammer Lab, and campus entrances. In addition, students use their Hofstra ID/HofPass to access dining dollars at on-campus dining locations.
Students may deactivate a lost Hofstra ID card or suspend their HofPass at any time by visiting hofpass.hofstra.edu. Replacement Hofstra ID cards can be obtained by visiting Room 110 Mack Student Center, North Campus. Please note that a $25 fee applies for lost card replacements.
