This week, we come to the end of Year 4! We would like you to reflect back over your time in Year 4 and share your memories of this unusual year in all our lives. There is a new Flipgrid especially for us to share these memories, so please send us a video of yours on there, if you can!

We are also concluding our writing focus based on the texts of ‘The Iron Man’ and ‘The Iron Woman’ by Ted Hughes, inspired by the environmental themes in ‘The Iron Woman’.

Be as creative and imaginative as you like - where did he/she come from? What happened when he/she appeared on earth? Who did he/she meet? What did they do together? Does your story have both the Iron Man and the Iron Woman? What happens to him/her in the end?

The Iron Woman showed that we should all try not to waste things but to re-use them as much as possible. Use old magazines, newspapers, comics and books to make your own imaginary scene.
