Signage is posted in highly visible locations to promote everyday protective measures and describe how to prevent the spread of germs.
Floor markers for distancing have been placed in the office and other high traffic areas.
Floor signs are placed throughout the building to show students where to stand and how to travel.
Social distancing Tiger Paws are located in the lobby leading into the main office.
Hand sanitizing stations have been installed and filled in high traffic intersections within the school building.
Cleaning protocols and schedules have been developed with SSC to ensure that the building is cleaned and sanitized following all recommended protocols.
All staff members were provided with a face shield and cleaning supplies.
Masks will be required at all times other than in designated mask down areas. Additionally, for students returning on campus, masks are required on all HCS buses and HCS campuses. Mask down zones will be implemented during eating/drinking, physical activity, or instructional settings when deemed appropriate.
Seating charts will be in place in the classroom. Assigned seats in cafeteria.
Restrooms will be used according to a defined schedule. Students will follow proper restroom procedures including proper hand-washing procedures.
Face masks will be available for students who do not have one.
Sanitizer stations and restrooms will be checked and cleaned throughout the building multiple times a day. SSC will conduct cleaning of high touch and highly traveled areas throughout the learning day.

Grade levels who share restrooms will have staggered restroom times to limit the number of students in the hallway during restroom breaks.
Grade levels will have times and assigned restrooms to use. Grade levels will create schedules, just like this year, that separates classes. As students go to the restroom, students will enter two (2) at a time and teachers will ensure students exit with washed hands.
Students will be taken as a class for restroom breaks and lined up by hallmarking.
Restroom breaks will be scheduled and the schedule will be shared with the custodians.
Students will leave a clip or other object in the box by the restroom to alert the custodian that the restroom has been used.

Hand-washing / hand sanitizer will take place after transition from place to place and as often as necessary.
Hand sanitizer will be used when entering and exiting classrooms.
Dispose of trash in the receptacles provided.

Signage is posted at all water fountains outlining limited use for refilling water bottles only.
Water fountains will only be used for filling water bottles.
Students will need to bring their own water bottle to refill.
Before sending your child to school, please assess how they are feeling and if they have a fever. Please do not send your child to school if they are sick and/or running a fever. We also ask that you not send your child to school under medication that treats the symptoms of a fever.
If you suspect your child or anyone in your household has been exposed to or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, your child will need to stay home. Please contact the school for further protocol and procedures to find out when it is safe for your child to return to school.
Students and visitors running a fever should not enter the building.
Visitors will not enter the building without an appointment.
