In the classroom, masks will be required when:
◆ students are working with a teacher and responsible distancing cannot be
maintained (required by both teacher and student).
◆ students are walking around (throwing away trash, lining up, transitioning, etc.).
◆ students are working with others.
In the building, masks will be required when:
◆ Transitioning from one area to another, this includes:
● students enter/exit the building in the mornings and afternoons
● students are in the media center
● students are in the hallways
● students are in the restroom
● traveling to another classroom/space
● students are visiting the office or clinic
● anytime when responsible distancing is not possible
Masks need to comply with the dress code standards outlined in the Code of Conduct. Students who do not comply with on-campus efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 will be encouraged to transition to remote learning or could be in violation of the Code of Conduct.
Masks must be worn appropriately covering nose and mouth and securing it under the chin.
The teacher will let students know when it is appropriate to remove masks.
Students will have the option to keep their masks on in mask down zones.
