Visitors by appointment only. Even with an appointment, we request that you limit the number of visitors in your group to those who are essential for your visit.
Visitors without an appointment may not be granted entry into the building.
Essential visitors are defined as those with business critical to the operation of the district (e.g. contractors, deliveries, members of the Department of Health, etc.).
If you are running a fever, have a direct exposure to COVID-19, if anyone in your household has symptoms, or you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not enter the building.
Masks must be worn by all visitors. No one will be allowed to enter the building without a mask.
All visitors will need a valid picture ID.
We will not use the Check-Mate computer for check-in or check-out of students or to register visitors.
If your child is tardy or entering school after 7:45 AM, pull up to the front and call the school at 770-474-4066. Someone will come out to check your child in.
If your child has a doctor's or dentist's appointment, please, whenever possible, notify the front office staff in advance so that they can have your child ready when you arrive.
No student check-outs after 2:00 PM daily.
Please call in advance to schedule student check-outs.
Parent/Teacher Conferences and Parent/Administrator Conferences will take place through video conferencing.
504 and IEP meetings will take place through video conferencing.
Front doors will remain locked at all times and families will receive regular communication reminders to call BEFORE coming to the school.
Signs will be posted for visitors that do show-up unexpectedly to call the front office.
Office entry may not be granted unless there is an emergency.
Office procedures will be communicated to the school community on a regular basis via recorded message.
At this time, all volunteer/mentoring opportunities will be conducted virtually, unless directed by the school principal.
All individuals entering a school or district building must follow the protocols outlined.
Lunch and classroom visits will not be permitted at this time.
Please make sure your child has everything he/she needs for the day before leaving home. We will not deliver lunches, book bags, technology (Chromebooks and IPad), or other items to students.
If a child forgets his/her lunch, parents should not bring the lunch; we will ensure a lunch is provided for your child.
All transportation changes must be in by 12 noon daily. Transportation changes must have a working phone number and parent signature. We will not accept transportation changes by phone or email.
If you are experiencing hardware issues, please complete an IncidentIQ report. The icon for IncidentIQ can be found in your child's Classlink.
