Henry County Schools has uses biannual check-ins with students and staff to support well-being. Perception data helps to inform supports for both students and staff throughout the year. This data is used by CARE teams and Mental Health and Wellness Facilitators to plan targeted interventions for the school climate and individuals. Data is compared from each administration to identify changes and trends.
The Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator is responsible for administering these check-ins with their students and staff. The goal is to get 80% completion for both groups of check-in takers. They are also responsible for working with administration and the administration leadership team to develop goals based on this data. The Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator also works with the CARE team to develop action plans for students based on the student's open-ended responses.
