The Hillsboro-Deering High School Alternative Program is designed to service high school students with academic and behavioral challenges who have not demonstrated academic progress in the regular classroom setting. The program provides opportunities for students to receive instruction in a small group setting with positive behavioral supports and experiential learning opportunities. Instruction is provided in a manner that meets the district and high school goals of quality instruction based on course competencies and responsible citizenship.
Note: Students must meet the high school’s eligibility criteria to attend this program.
