For the first time since 2019, the students of TAB gathered for a night of disco-themed glam and glitz on Thursday, March 2, in the Oakville Legacy Banquet Hall. The event began at 6:30, and people were dancing until 10:00. The mood was elevated, and everyone was complimenting each other’s outfits. Immediately, there was an exciting vibe. The lights were colorful, and a live DJ was playing hit songs that everybody could sing along to.
“It was very high energy,” Zara A said about the atmosphere of the dance.
Inside the venue, the decorations were fresh and funky. In addition to a wet bar serving fountain drinks and Shirley Temples, tables were scattered throughout the room leaving space for a dance floor in the middle. People formed a dance circle to singer Ice Spice, and slow-danced to Spandau Ballet and Careless Whisper.
In terms of fashion, most people stuck to the 70s look. Feather boas, flared pants, and sequins were all the rage.
Overall, this was a night that you wouldn’t want to miss. Fond memories were made, and everyone had a blast showing off their disco moves. Thanks for a groovy night, TAB!
