The International University would like to inform all graduating students of the 2022-2023 academic year about the graduation ceremony plan as follows:

1.Final rehearsal session:
BA Students
Time: 13 :15pm on December 15, 2023
Location: Tran Chi Dao Auditorium - National University Headquarters, Ho Chi Minh City.
2. Graduation Ceremony:

Ceremony duration: 7:00 am to 12:45pm - on December 17, 2023

3. Receive graduation robes, invitations, yearbooks, and diplomas: Students please refer to the announcement below.
*Note:
In order for the Graduation Ceremony to be solemn and successful, the University requests that students adhere to the following regulations:
1. Be present on time according to the Announcement and attend the Graduation Ceremony seriously and completely.
2. Follow the program of the rehearsal and Graduation Ceremony.
3. Graduating students must attend the rehearsal. In case of not attending the rehearsal, they will not be able to go on stage to perform the diploma presentation ceremony during the Graduation Ceremony.
4. Dress formally and politely. Do not use unnecessary accessories that diminish the seriousness of the Graduation Ceremony.
5. The school arranges photographers to take photos when students receive their graduation certificates, so students do not need to hire their own photographers inside the auditorium during the graduation ceremony.
6. Each student has a parent attending the ceremony. However, due to the large number of graduating students this year, the seating area inside Tran Chi Dao Auditorium cannot accommodate all the parents. Therefore, in addition to the existing seating in the auditorium, the school has arranged an additional area outside with screens for parents to watch the ceremony live.
[ANNOUNCEMENT] RECEIVING THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE
The School of Business Administration announces to the graduating students of the academic year 2022-2023 the time to receive their graduation certificates, specifically as follows:
1. For twinning program students (University of the West of England 4+0 and the program in collaboration with Andrews University):
Time: from 1:30pm to 4:00pm on December 17, 2023
Venue: O1.614 (Office of International Academic Collaboration)
2. For BA students:
Time: from 1:30pm to 4:00pm on December 17, 2023
Venue: Office of the School of Business Administration O1.306 (International University - Thu Duc Campus)
Graduation certificate procedures:
1. Students will directly receive their certificates.
Students bring their student ID card and ID card.
2. Replacement is allowed (only in cases of force majeure):
Authorized recipients: Parents, siblings, spouse.
Required documents include:
Authenticated authorization letter from the ward/commune.
Certified copy of the recipient's citizen ID card (note: the substitute must bring the original for
Certified copy of the student's citizen ID card or student ID card for the authorized recipient (note: the substitute must bring the original for verification).
After December 17, 2023, if BA students want to receive their graduation certificates, they can contact the Office of the School of Businiess at O1.306 or the OAA at O2.708 (for domestic program students) and the Office of International Academic Collaboration at O1.614 (for UWE and AD students) to receive their certificates. When receiving the certificates, students should bring all necessary documents.

Step 1: Transfer the fee for renting the graduation gown
Students/Graduate students please fill in the information at the link: https://bit.ly/graduation2022-2023 (Students are required to fill in the information before receiving the gown - This information will be used to refund the gown fee (after depreciation), so students need to provide accurate information).
Transfer the fee for renting the graduation gown to International University through the account number provided by the Financial Planning Department: 3145559799 at BIDV Bank - Dong Sai Gon Branch, using the format: Student ID - Full name - Graduation gown, with the amount as shown below.
Students/Graduate students must complete the payment for the Financial Planning Department before November 24, 2023 - The School of Business will refuse to issue Graduation Attire to students without transfer information. Therefore, to avoid any trouble, students need to transfer the payment within the specified time.
The specific amount for Graduation Attire and Yearbook is mentioned in the table below.
2. Step 2: After transferring the payment for Graduation Attire, undergraduate students/graduate students will receive their Graduation Attire and invitation letter at the Office of School of Busisness - O1.306 according to the specified time.
Note: This announcement is only for students of the School of Business. Students from other School/ Department should contact their respective School/ Department for guidance.

Note:
To ensure your rights, students please carefully check the Graduation attire before receiving it (The attire will include: 1 Graduation gown + 1 stole + 1 cap + Parent invitation letter)
After students have signed for the Graduation attire, we will not be responsible for any loss of the attire thereafter.
Students are responsible for the preservation of the graduation attire. In case of loss or damage to the attire, they must compensate the university according to the specific purchase price listed in the table below.
Students can receive replacement graduation attire as follows:

The recipient of the attire must bring their ID card of the authorized person + commitment form (with complete information and signature).
If students receive multiple sets of attire (to help a friend), please bring a garment bag.
[ANNOUNCEMENT] REGARDING THE RETURN OF GRADUATION ATTIRE
Step 1: Students/Trainees return their graduation attire at the Department of Business Administration - Room O1.306 according to the following schedule:

Graduation Ceremony Date: 13:30 on December 17, 2023
From Monday to Friday (from December 18, 2023 to December 22, 2023)
Morning: 08:15 am to 11:15 am
Afternoon: 01:15 pm to 03:45 pm
The graduation attire must be complete, not torn or damaged, including: Gown + Cap + Collar.
In case students damage/lose the graduation attire, they are responsible for compensating for the attire at the current purchase price, as specified in the table below.
Step 2: Students/Trainees will receive a refund for the borrowed ceremonial attire from the Financial Planning Department - International University through the provided Account Number in Step 1 after 15 working days from the date of returning the attire. The specific amount is shown in the table below.
Note:
Students must return the ceremonial attire within the specified time (22/12/2023). After this time, if students have not returned the attire, it will be considered as not returning the attire to the university and they will not receive a refund for the borrowed attire.
Students in the UWE joint program will wear their own ceremonial attire, similar to UWE's graduation attire in England, so the cost of tailoring, depreciation, and laundry is higher than regular graduation attire.
The amount of money collected for students who want to buy yearbooks is 250,000 VND per student (the total cost of the yearbook is 310,000 VND per student, with the school providing a support of 60,000 VND per student).
In the case where students damage their ceremonial attire, they are responsible for compensating for the attire based on the current purchase price, as specified in the table below.

The OAA and the School of Business Administration would like to inform the students who will graduate in the academic year 2022-2023 (Graduation list-Academic year 2022-2023 (IU courses) about the schedule of the Graduation Ceremony as follows:
Schedule:
Rehearsal time for the Graduation Ceremony: 13:00 on December 15, 2023 - Students (domestic and twinning programs) are required to participate in the rehearsal in order to attend the official Graduation Ceremony.
Official Graduation Ceremony time: 7:00 to 12:30 on December 17, 2023 - Students of School of Business (IU courses, UWE, AD)

4. Regarding the release of the university yearbook and the presentation of images during the Graduation Ceremony, students are kindly requested to refer to the announcement below.

According to the new announcement about the Graduation diploma, information about the name of Thesis Topic will be attached in the diploma appendix. Therefore, to ensure accurate data, the we ask students whose names are on the list below to check the name of their Thesis Topic and give feedback to the School of Business

[ANNOUNCEMENT] ADDITIONAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS (Updated 26/09/2023)
After the Graduation Evaluation Council for the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023, the OAA has added 2 additional graduation requirements, as follows:
Students must complete any outstanding tuition fees before the Graduation Evaluation. Failure to do so will result in the student's name not being included in the Graduation Decision for that semester.
Students who have been warned academically during their studies will be downgraded by one grade level when their graduation is evaluated. For example, from Excellent to Good.
[ANNOUNCEMENT] REGARDING STUDENTS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR GRADUATION BUT STILL HAVE TUITION DEBT (Updated 26-09-2023)
The OAA has just issued a notification regarding the additional requirements for recognizing graduation in the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023:
Students who meet the graduation requirements but still have tuition debt, please complete the payment of tuition fees from 26/09/2023 to the end of 03/10/2023.
After the aforementioned period, the OAA will finalize the list with the Financial Planning Department. Students who still have tuition debt will not be included in the Graduation Decision in the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023.
Therefore, students whose names are listed in the Graduation list are kindly requested to check their tuition fees on edusoft and complete the payment (if any) within the specified timeframe as mentioned above.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] ABOUT THE EXTENSION FOR STUDENTS OF INTAKE 2015 AND 2016
For students of Intake 2015 - This is your final academic year, you MUST complete the curriculum and any missing certificates if you want to graduate. In case students of Intake 2015 have not completed the graduation conditions for Batch 1 and need an additional summer semester of academic year 2022-2023 to complete the graduation conditions, please submit an application for extension of study time to the Office of School of Business before May 17, 2023. 2. For students of Intake 2016, those who have applied for extension until the end of Semester 2 of academic year 2022-2023, but still have not completed the graduation conditions, please submit an application for extension to the Office of School of Business before May 17, 2023.

Students who fail to submit their graduation profile on time will not be eligible for graduation and will have to wait until the next academic year. CERTIFICATIONS FOR GRADUATION
REGULATIONS
GRADUATION REGULATIONS
1. Students are eligible for graduation and receive graduation certificates when they meet the following conditions:
a) Accumulate enough credits, courses and complete other mandatory contents as required by the training program, meet the output standards of the training program; (Students of Course 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 must complete 138 credits of subjects according to their chosen major, Students of Course 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 must complete 139 credits of subjects according to their chosen major)
b) The cumulative grade point average of the whole course is from average or higher;
c) In addition to completing the number of credits according to the training program, students need to complete
Meet the foreign language output standards according to the guidance from the OAA (The foreign language certificate must be valid until the time of graduation)
Certificate of National Defense Education,
Final civic activities
Submit high school diploma
Complete the conditional courses as prescribed by VNU-HCM and IU (including political classes, civic activities);
d) At the time of graduation, they are not being prosecuted for criminal liability or are not being disciplined at the level of suspension from school.
e) Students fully perform their responsibilities and obligations according to the regulations and rules of the school that have been officially issued;
2. Students who meet the graduation requirements will be decided by the Rector to recognize graduation and grant diplomas or temporary graduation certificates within 03 months from the time students fully meet the graduation requirements and complete their obligations with the School.
3. The graduation rank is determined based on the cumulative grade point average of the whole course as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 10 of this Regulation, in which, the graduation rank of students with excellent and good cumulative grade point averages will be reduced by one level if they fall into one of the following cases:
a) The volume of courses that have to be retaken (due to failure, not counting the courses retaken to improve grades) exceeds 5% of the total credits required for the whole program;
b) The student has been disciplined from warning level or higher during the study period.
4. Students who do not graduate will be issued a certificate of the courses they have accumulated in the school's training program.
5. The process and procedures for graduation examination and recognition are as follows:
a) Every academic year, the International University establishes a Graduation Examination Council for students in two sessions: May and September. Based on the graduation examination conditions, the Graduation Examination Council makes a list of those who are eligible for graduation, proposing the Rector to issue a decision to recognize the list of graduating students.
b) During the time of completing the procedures for issuing graduation certificates, students will be issued a temporary graduation certificate. This certificate is valid from the date of issuance until the date of receiving the graduation certificate, and does not replace the graduation certificate.
