The school informs all students about the process of changing programs, applicable for Semester II, Semester III of the academic year 2023-2024 as follows:
I. TIME:
Depending on the desire to change majors or programs in each semester, students submit applications in each phase to transfer to the appropriate semester. The specific timeline is as follows:
Time to receive applications at faculties/subjects: from December 26, 2024 to December 31, 2024;
Application result period: from January 20, 2025 to January 24, 2025
II. REQUIREMENTS FOR CHANGING PROGRAMS:
1. Not being a first or final year student, not being subject to compulsory withdrawal, and having enough time to study according to regulations;
2. The admission requirements for students must meet the admission requirements of the program and field of study that the student wishes to transfer to in the same enrollment period;
3. The receiving unit meets all the conditions to ensure quality and does not exceed the training capacity for that program and field of study according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
4. With the consent of the heads of the specialized units responsible for the program and field of study.
The International University announces to the departments and students to be aware and take action.
III. PROCEDURE
Students who wish to change majors or programs should follow the procedure:
Step 1: Download the request form (students can either print it out and fill it in or download it and fill it in online)
Students can download the form at:http://onlinerequestoaa.hcmiu.edu.vn/
ID: Student ID number
Pass: DDMMYYYY (Student's date of birth)
Students go to the Forms section -> Changing directions -> Download the appropriate form according to their preference.
In case students cannot log in to the website, they can send an email to tttin@hcmiu.edu.vn for password recovery support.
Step 2: Fill in all the required information.
Students need to fill in all the required information on the form.
Students must clearly state the reason for wanting to transfer programs, otherwise the School of Business will reject the request form without a reason.
Students should write the date and sign the form (students must sign the form - the School of Business and OAA do not accept forms with only a name or without a signature).
Step 3: Parent's consent signature.
Parents should clearly state their opinion.
Parents must sign - The request form must have a parent's signature, the School of Business Administration does not accept forms with only a name/ full name without a signature.
Step 4: Submit the form.
Students scan and upload the application and necessary documents to the LINK (Note: Students should upload the application to the link for easy tracking and processing, to avoid the risk of losing the application)
After receiving the online application from students, the School of Business will transfer it to relevant departments for processing.
Students can track the progress of their application through LINK
Step 5: Wait for the results.
The OAA will conduct an examination of the application according to regulations, submit it to the Board of Director for consideration, and issue a Decision for students who meet the conditions for changing majors/programs.
Students who are allowed to change majors or programs will receive a new student ID number and Edusoft account via email at the specified time.
For students who are allowed to change majors/programs, please contact the following Offices/Centers:
a) Student Affairs Office (O1.105) to support the issuance of new student cards.
b) Information Technology Services Center (O1.312) to assist with the conversion of Student Email, My IU, Blackboard accounts.

We would like to inform students about the process of changing programs, applicable for the First semester of Academic year 2023-2024 as follows:
I. TIME:
Time to receive applications from 12/6/2023 to 23/6/2023;
Feedback time is from August 1, 2023 to the end of August 4, 2023.
II. CONDITIONS FOR CHANGING PROGRAMS:
1. Not currently being a first-year or final-year student, not subject to consideration for expulsion and still have enough study time as prescribed;
2. The students' admission conditions must meet the matriculation conditions of the training program or major in the same enrollment course;
3. The receiving unit fully meets the quality assurance conditions and has not yet exceeded the training capacity for that program or branch according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
4. With the consent of the heads of specialized units in charge of Schools/ Departments.
III. CHANGING PROGRAMS PROCESS
Students wishing to change programs follow the process:
1. Step 1: Students fill out the request form according to the form, the application must be certified by the parent.
2. Step 2:
a) For an application to change programs awarded by an International University: Students submit an application for confirmation at the Schools/Department they are studying and the Schools/Departments, respectively.
b) For an application to change to twining programs: Students submit an application for confirmation at the Schools/Departments currently studying, the School/ Department to transfer to, and the Office of International Academic Collaboration (O1.614)
3. Step 3: Students submit the application (valid application, completed requirements) and necessary documents (if any) at the OAA (O2.708)
4. Step 4: The OAA examines the application according to regulations, submits it to the Management Board for consideration and issues a Decision for students who meet the conditions for changing programs.
5. Step 5: Students who are allowed to change programs will receive their new student code and Edusoft account via email from time to time as announced.
6. Step 6: For students who are allowed to change majors/programs, students should contact the following Departments/Centers:
a) Office of Student Affair (O1.105) to assist in issuing new student cards.
b) Information Technology Service Center (O1.312) to support the conversion of Student Email, My IU, Blackboard accounts.
