The wrong courses will not be counted in the Programs of School of Business - Students are required to re-register for the correct courses in the following semesters in order to Graduate.
ANNOUNCEMENT
WORKSHOP 2
In order to ensure that students have sufficient basic knowledge before participating in courses of Workshop 2, the School of Business has added prerequisite courses for Workshop 2 of the specializations. Students MUST take the following courses before participating in Workshop 2 (Marketing, International Business, Business Management, and Hospitality Management):
BA115IU - Introduction to Business Administration
BA123IU - Principles of Management
BA168IU - Quantitative Methods for Business or BA162IU - Strategy Formulation and Implementation
Students from the intake 2022 and earlier who take 2 courses of Workshop 2 of a different specializations (4 credits) will be equivalent to 1 elective of specialization. However, only 1 elective of the specialization can be subtituted
Students from the intake 2022 and earlier who take 2 Workshop 2 classes of a different major (4 credits) will be equivalent to 1 elective (3 credits) of that major. However, only 1 elective of the specialization can be substituted. (There is no case where 4 courses of Workshop 2 of a different specialization can be substituted for 2 electives)
2 courses of Workshop 2 of other specializations (4 credits) = 1 elective
4 courses of Workshop 2 of other specializations IS NOT EQUAL 2 electives
Students from the intake 2023 onwards must take Workshop 2 classes of their own specialization.
CHANGING IN ACADEMIC PROGRAMS INTAKE 2023
Students intake 2023 will study PE021IU - General Law (not BA167IU - Introduction to Vietnamese Legal Sytem)
Students intake 2023 will have 2 periods of Internship (6 credits), include:
BA153IU - Internship (3 credits)
BA255IU - Specialized Internship (3 credits)
Students should complete BA153IU - Internship before register - BA255IU - Specialized Internship.
BA148IU - Interactive Marketing change name to BA148IU - Digital Marketing
BA285IU - Geographical Information System is add to elective courses of all specialization (Business Management, International Business, Marketing and Hospitality Management)

RE-REGISTERED LEARNING TO IMPROVE POINTS
Core courses: if students have not yet accumulated, they must re-register for that subject in one of the next semesters following the training plan. The list of equivalent/alternative course is decided and officially announced by the Principal.
Elective courses: if students have not yet accumulated, they must re-register for elective courses in the group of elective subjects specified in the curriculum. Students should note that in the case of improving grades, students who want to improve their score in an elective course must retake that elective course (Eg. if students want to improve score of course A, students MUST retake course A).
The highest results in the study times will be selected to be counted in the GPA. Scores of all lessons are fully saved in the student's study data

School of Business Administration announces to all students of the joint training program at the bachelor's level in Business Administration with the University of New South Wales, Australia as follows:
For all students of the joint program of Bachelor of Business Administration with the University of New South Wales from 2023 onwards, it is necessary to complete the subject BA167NS - Introduction to Vietnamese Legal System during the study period at the University of New South Wales. International University.
In case students do not complete the subject BA167NS - Introduction to Vietnamese Legal System during the period of study at the International University, when transferring to the University of New South Wales, students are required to complete the alternative subject COMM1900 - Organizations in their Environment.
Therefore, the School of Business Administration recommends that program students who have not studied BA167NS - Introduction to Vietnamese Legal System consider enrolling in BA167NS - Introduction to Vietnamese Legal System before transferring.

[DEFINITIONS] CORE COURSES - ELECTIVE COURSES - EQUIVALENCE COURSES - PREREQUISITE COURSES - PRIOR COURSES
Core courses: students must accumulate during the process to be considered for Graduation/ Transfer.
Elective courses: is a courses that contains the necessary knowledge and students can choose according to their own specialization, creating flexibility in the academic program. Elective courses can be arranged in groups, students must accumulate a certain number of courses in each group in order to accumulate the minimum number of credits specified for the corresponding elective course group.
Equivalent courses: a course is considered to be equivalent to course A of the curriculum when they have the same content, language used in teaching and duration as the most basic requirements of that course A (with have the same content of 80% or more and have the same number of credits or more). The list of equivalence courses is prescribed by the University at the request of the School/ Department.
Alternative courses: used when a course of the curriculum is changed or adjusted, no longer being taught and is replaced by another course that is still being taught or a new course.
Prior courses: students who have studied course A (can pass or fail) => can register for further study course B
For example: BA005IU - Financial Accounting is the prerequisite course of BA010IU - Managarial Accounting. Students only need to have passed (currently studying) Financial Accounting - BA005IU to be able to register for BA010IU - Managerial Accounting
Prerequisite course: students MUST pass course A to register for course B
Example: BA080IU - Statistics for Business is a prerequisite course of BA161IU - Business Research Methods. Students MUST pass (with scores on edusoft) Statistics for Business - BA080IU to be able to register for BA161IU - Business Research Methods.
