The Students' Council in the High School Section is one of a kind. It consists of four Consortium Councils, formed by student councillors from the Secondary 2 and 3, and the High School Council formed by Secondary 4 councillors.
With this unique structure, the school is able to have a Students' Council with over 120 councillors across all four levels. These student leaders are provided with several opportunities to helm major school and national/international events including the following:
Secondary One Orientation
Chinese New Year Celebrations
Secondary One Annual Camp
National Inter-School Track and Field Finals Cheering
Hair for Hope @ HCI
Appreciation Month (for non-teaching staff)
High School Open House
Student Leaders Convention
Teachers' Day Celebrations
End of Year Consortium Activities
Secondary Four Commencement Dinner
Other than organising events, the Students' Council plays a significant part in the students' welfare through various activities such as conducting Student Forums during level assemblies, opening of student lounges and snack bars and organising social games such as street soccer amongst the students.
