Platforms

There are several student leadership bodies in Hwa Chong which provide opportunities for students to hone their leadership skills. Students can, in the process, make positive impact at different levels of the student population, from within their class, in their CCA, for the entire school population or even beyond the school - in the community.

The Students' Council (Consortium Councils and High School Council) and the four Uniformed Groups are two student bodies that have strong elements in student leadership development. The Integrated Boarding Programme, which is opened to Secondary 3 students, is another platform where participants are introduced to concepts of entrepreneurial leadership. There are also several other student leadership bodies, as well as signature student-led events organised throughout the year as part of honing students' leadership skills.
