Industry Mentors
(Educator Guide)
Industry Mentors
Industry mentors provide perspective and knowledge for students interested in their industry. The industry mentor helps provide next steps and career advice for the student to advance in their industry. Mentoring experiences can also be supplemented by industry-related assignments that allow the students to learn more about the industry.
These experiences can be done in-person or through a virtual platform under the direct supervision of a teacher or approved school staff member (if students are underage).
Many industry mentoring experiences culminate with a presentation experience at the conclusion of the mentoring time period.
