Class Standards

1. Empowered Learner

Students can use technology to learn and help others. To be an Empowered Learner, you have to understand the fundamental concepts of the device you are using.

2. Digital Citizen

Students learn the rules of the online world and follow them. They do not violate copyright laws or participate in illegal activities.

3. Knowledge Constructor

Students create things with technology. Also, they get good researching skills based off of the projects they are assigned. When I use technology to build off my knowledge and learn something new, by making a meaningful connection/creation. This deals with the process of getting there.

4. Innovative Designer

Students solve problems by trying new things with the technology available to them. They also can test prototypes they have created. When I use technology to create something new to solve a problem. This deals with the product.

5. Computational Thinker

Students look at different ways to solve problems and try new strategies. When I understand the problem by thinking about its parts, and I find a solution using technology. This deals with the process of getting there.

6. Creative Communicator

Students express their ideas and views creatively using platforms on technology. When I use technology to express/share my ideas or my solution. This deals with the product.

7. Global Collaborator

Students can work with people from all around the world and share their work with people in other countries. When I use technology to share ideas or creations. This deals with the process.
