What materials will you need for your project?
Makey-Makey and other objects.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I will create as many things off my list of 10 good ideas as I can.
What unique qualities will your project have?
I'll hopefully be able to make some really cool projects.
Daily Log:
Day 1: I worked on my site and experimented with the Makey-Makey
Day 2: I made my piano video and edited it and experimented with some other projects.
Day 3: I teamed up with Brissa and we made our projects and I did the make-a-sketch.
Day 4: I took notes on my next project.
Day 5: I made the Dinosaur Game.
Day 6: I wrote my paragraphs and uploaded some things.
The bananas we used connected to the Makey-Makey
For my projects, I used a Makey-Makey, a banana, a bunch of cords and Play-Doh. I created some pretty cool projects, some were much harder than others, though. because this project was kind of confusing to me. I used some of the tutorials on the site to guide the things I did and I did a collaboration with Brissa when we made our projects.
During this process, I learned how to use a Makey-Makey. I also learned how to create circuits. I also learned how to use instructional videos in aiding me when I am trying to do a project. (I usually just look at the finished project and go from there.)
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I'm sharing this project on my site, which is shared with the world. It also ties to Computational Thinker because I had to figure out how to do some of these projects on my own.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having absolutely no idea how to do it. I was able to do it by asking my peers about what to do. I also watched a few videos about what to do.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change most of my projects. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I didn't really challenge myself enough on these projects. I usually go for more complicated ones, but this time, I just went for a few easy ones.
