I am going to work by myself on this project.
I will need a micro-bit and a cord.
My plane for this project is to make different coding things.
My project will be different then everyone else's that's what will make it unique.
Daily log
Day 1: I made a list of 10 good ideas and answered the four questions.
Day 6: I checked over my website to make sure I had everything done and made more codes.
Day 2: I tried conecting the Micro-bit to the Computer and started making the name tag.
Day 3: I finished making the name tag.
Day 3: I made a smiley face to a frowning face.
Day 4: I made more stuff on the micro bit but I didn't take pictures or videos of them.
Day 5: I did the paragraph that will help me get 80%.
Using the micro-bit, I created my name going across the screen. I also made a smiley face turning to a frowning face, when I pushed A there would be a smiley face and when I pushed B it would turn into a frowning face, then when I pushed A and B it would turn into a side ways smiley face. On my free time I created a lo more too because I wanted to learn how to make different things on the micro-bit.
During this process, I learned that its easier then I thought to make stuff on micro-bits. I thought that coding would be harder then it actually is. I also learned how people connect the micro its to the computer.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen and knowledge constructor because we are learning how to make things on a micro-bit so we are getting knowledge on how to use some technology.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I couldn't connect the micro-bit to the computer because there were no more cords left. I was able to do it by getting a cord before everyone else took them all. Another challenge that I over came was I was trying code something on the micro bit but it wouldn't go on the micro bit screen.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change do more difficult things because I only did easy things because I didn't think I would have enough time to make something more difficult.. The reason why I would change it is because making easier things can be boring because you aren't given a challenge and when you do more difficult things it gives you more of a challenge.
