8P1-Video Project

Using an iPad, iMovie, and the internet, I created a movie about my 2 favorite sports because I love softball and volleyball. I also did it because sports are my favorite thing in the whole world.

During this process, I learned how to add music to the movie. I also learned how to change the transition between each picture.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I used non-copy written imagery in my movie.

A challenge I overcame on this project was putting my voice in my video because I was scared to. I was able to do it by overcoming the fear of it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what the video was about. The reason why I would change it is because there is a lot more different things that I could've put in the video.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in editing and publishing images and sound.
