What is your plan to create in this project?

I plan to create a quilt.

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will be a different design

Using a sewing machine and material I created part of a quilt because I wanted something to make a blanket type thing.
During this process, I learned how to use a sewing machine.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I decided what I want to make.
A challenge I overcame on this project was sewing straight and not all over the place. I was able to do it by taking my time and not rushing.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the patterns. The reason why I would change it is because I could have done a different patterns that I did.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Presser. Laundry attendant. Weaver. Alterations specialist. Upholsterer. Alterations manager. Cutter. Tailor.

Daily log:

Day 10: I started my sixth square.

Day 11: I finished my sixth square and started my seventh.

Day 12:I finished my seventh.

Day 13: I started and finished my eighth.

Day 14: The machine broke.

Day 15: I finished my ninth

Day 16: I almost finished my tenth but I didn't have enough time.
