This is my finished project.
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need the 3D printer.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to print something.
What unique qualities will your project have?
No one will have the same thing as me.
Using the 3D printer, I created a friend 2.0 because now that I have more time to add detail to it I can make it better than what it was the first time.
During this process, I learned you can make the same design but with more, different, stuff.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I solved a problem that I kept getting while using technology.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the 3D printer to start. I was able to do it by asking for help from someone who knew how to do it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what detail I put o my design. The reason why I would change it is because I don't think I put enough detail on it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.
