An obstacle course that the tello drone can go through
I haven't seen anyone make a drone obstracle course in this class so it'll be a first.

Using the tllo drone an Ipad and cardboard, I created a drone obstacle course because I haven't seen anyone do it in this class and it seemed like a good way to encorperate the drone while building something. Our course had 3 obstacles ad a landing pad.
During this process, I learned how to fly the tello drone and how to calibrate the propellers on the drone. I also learned how to upload the video from the drone onto the ipad. One more thing i learened was how to record and take videos using the drones camera system.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to inovative designer and creative communuicator because in a group we all spread ideas for our course and we innovated some of our obstacles to fit our drone through.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the pictures Cj took on the ipad to my google site. I was able to do it by taking a snipit on the coputer of the picture on gmail and then uploading it back on to my site. Another problem we had was the drone not fitting through the obstacles we just fixed it by cutting out and gluing on more pieces to the obstacles.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the ammount of obstacles we had and make more. The reason why I would change it is because the course was pretty short and it wasn't very hard to fly through, I think a little more of a challenge would have been more fun to fly through.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design and Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School because we used the dron and programmed it and we engineered an obstacle course for the drone.
