Here is the song script for our video

• Using the green screen and Imovie, I created a snow day rap because it felt like a good way to display a snow day and it is the type of music I listen to. We also used he ipad to edit and record the green screen video.

• During this process, I learned how to put backgrounds on the green screen and how to edit movies together on Imovie. I also learned how to record a type of music video with a green screen behind.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because me and memphis shared ideas for our rap and also music is shared with other people so I'm communicating with people through our rap. This could also be used to communicte a snow dfay to the students.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding a word to rhyme with snowballs. I was able to do it by going on a rhyme website and looking for anything snow day related. I also was chanllenged on the green screen background because a lot of them showed up blurry or the wouldn't copy to the camera roll.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of the rap. The reason why I would change it is because it is a little short and we could probably take our time on it. Maybe add a few more lines or add a beat in the background to make it better.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School because media includes music and also making videos and posting them is a part of media. My project connects to careers in music making and music video making. Maybe even directing a music video and editing it.
