Here i had to make this character run. I couldn't find an animation for this character to look like he was throwing. I'll have to find another character that has a throwing animation.
I found a character that had a throwing animation. It was hard to time the throw with the egg moving. I had to use an egg because the football 3D models wouldn't load.
Here are some of my code blocks, I have 37 in total. It was hard to time the movements up to the egg moving. The characters are timed up they best they can be.
This is the almost finished look of characters and football field. I added the Grinch as a fan just for a little humor. I'll add some more fans and more little things for detail.
This is an overview of my project. I added a train and some more things to add some more detail to the field. Before i did this the field was pretty bland.
CoSpaces_2020-01-27_09-30-38.mp4One challenge i had to overcome was getting the helmets to stay on the characters. Keegan helped me out and told how to attach the helmets to the top of the characters and then move them in place. The way i was doing it the helmets wouldn't stay on the characters.
Something i would do differently is try and put jerseys on the characters. Without the jerseys, besides the helmets you cant tell what the teams are. I would just have to find a way to attach the jerseys to the characters. I'd like to add the jerseys for some more detail as well.
This VR connects to making video games like madden. Coding plays a big part in video games. In cospaces you're making VR and learning how to code at the same time. Like in this project i used 37 coding blocks. The CTE program that this ties to is the computer programming because you would learn how to code on the computers.
My project is a championship game winning touchdown. I have the train going around the field like in the red sox baseball stadium. I have some decorations for some detail and multiple fans to cheer on the teams. I did football because the superbowl is coming up soon.
A few things i learned were how to attach things to the characters. You have to attach it to the characters top and then move it in place. Another thing i learned was how to time up the animations by putting them in different orders to get them to start at the correct time.
This project ties to the standards of innovative designer and creative communicator. I used innovative designer throughout this whole process by improvising and using new things. I used creative communicator by going around telling people about my project, asking different people questions to get help on my project.
