Are you working by yourself on this project ? Yes because it will be a short project .
What materials do you need? 3d printer and paints.
What is your plan to create for this project? To look at a photo of snorlax and try to replicate it into a figurine.
What unique qualities will your project have ? It will almost be a exact replica of the original Pokémon.

Made the Snorlax printing it and tomorrow I will paint

Using a 3d printer, tinker cad and paints I created a Snorlax figure. During this project I had to look back and forth constantly between the reference photo and the 3d design. In this project I decided to base it of Snorlax because its one of my favorite characters. During this project I had to spend time replicating the colors.
During this process, I learned that you should try until you seceded. Also that be thankful for the undo button. In this case it was me having to redo colors and the claws on the fingers.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I shared this with the world. I also am showing it to friends. As well as family.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the paint colors from core colors. I messed up by mixing wrong colors and guessing because I usually just by paints. I was able to by yellows, blues and little bit of red.
Given a chance to do this again, I would try to use paint pens instead of acrylic paints . The reason why I would do it is because it could be exactly how I want it and it would look a lot more finished . I would use the paint pens I have and let it dry properly.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to Engineering Design the CTE program at Hastings High School, because I created a 3d print form and design and printed it. Also the fact I had to create it so it can stand up .
My project connects to careers Engineering Design with things like construction worker. With that job I could make things like building and sculptures or maybe working a a factory. The job will involve a lots of work with your hands but would be worth it to make cool products like a whole building for example.
