Refection's:

• Using a pin maker printed paper, and pin making supplies I created some pins. During this project I had to make a trip to the colored printer so they weren't black and white In this project I decided to do things like some characters form a show I like. During this project I also had to learn how to use the pin making machine and after the first time it was easy.

•  During this process, I learned that you should try and do the hard way around things if you want it to be how you want it. Also that I can create pins to fast. In this case I could make them in less than 5 minutes each.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I shared this with the world. I also am showing it to friends.  As well as family.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making sure I did things in right order. I messed up once by forgetting the plastic film. I was able to fix it by taking it apart and redoing it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would try to make textured pins . The reason why I would do it is because it would be like fidget but a pin . I would make it textured by hot glue pressing into things then putting that clear textured layer on top of the pin .

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to Engineering Design the  CTE program at Hastings High School, because I created a pin by using a machine that requires human work. The reason why I used my hands was to use my pressure from pulling the lever to press the pin together.

• My project connects to careers Engineering Design with things like construction worker.  With that job I could make things like building and sculptures or maybe working a a factory. The job will involve a lot of math but it would be manageable with the machines I use.
