8P8 - Merge Cube

Using Merge cube, I created a queen planet because it was something fun and easy I could do to help me understand merge cube better for my first time. I found this project helpful because I saw that I could use this process to do big important projects that will help me in my future. With this process, I can give a more 3D presentation to a company I might work for in the future.
During this process, I learned how to code and present my project in 3D on a merge cube. I learned the correct camera angle that I should place my ipad at for the image to show up. I also learned how to make my creation say hello.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I created something that anyone around the world who has acces to the internet can see. I created a project that people can look at for inspiration for their own project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the correct way to present my project on a merge cube. I was able to do it by getting help from my friends. Once I got some help it was a super easy and fun project that I would do again.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change everything. The reason why I would change it is because I would make my project more informative then funny. I do like the funny aspect to my project but I feel like I should do something more serious with it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Business Management CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Advertising and traids where I can present products to potential consumers or producers.
