Reflection

Using the iMovie on the iPad, I created a video all about me and my interests because those are my favorite things.
During this process, I learned how to import videos onto my digital portfolio and put photos into the iMovie and create a minute long video about myself.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an innovative designer because I used MY interests with MY thinking to come up with and create a iMovie about myself.
A challenge I overcame on this project was using the iMovie for the first time and editing for the first time in two years. I was able to do it by getting instructions from the teacher and using those instructions to form a full video about me and my interests.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how short the video was. The reason why I would change it is because I have a lot more interests than just those thirteen and I love talking about my interests so it would be better to make a longer video.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in editors and videographer because being able to edit an iMovie could be the start of a career in editing.
