Using iMovie, I decided to create a video about me that explains stuff I like and I enjoy doing that I enjoy doing in my free time or that I just find cool. When I made this video, I had to find out stuff I like, the reason I did this is because it lets me show people what I like that people might not. This helps people get to know me better and lets them figure out stuff I find entertaining, also this shows what hobbies I enjoy.

 During this project, I learned how to use I-Movie efficiently, this lets me do better on my other projects that need editing done on them. For example, if I need to record robots doing a task I can use I-Movie to show text on the screen to explain what they are doing. Also learning how to do I-Movie lets me open up a lot of possibilities for presenting projects not only in class but in the job industry.

Out of the 7 standards which include Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator, I noticed that my project ties closest to Knowledge Constructor. The reason I think this is because I used the resources that I had to curate a tactic to make it easier for others to understand, this can be done by using media and other forms of creative resources to fulfill the project. This shows that I used the internet and pictures on it to display the stuff I was trying to tell others.

During this project, a challenge I had to face was when I realized the first version of my video wasn't an about me video causing me to have to remake it. I was able to overcome this challenge by thinking quickly out of the other options I had to make a video on and make the voiceover. This helped me to understand if I am getting behind on something it doesn't mean the end of the world for my grade.  

If I was allowed to redo this project from day 1 I would change the idea I did for my first video so I could have more time to get in-depth with my topic. Doing this would let me get a lot more points out to people than I got from getting less amount of time to record and make the video. The reason I feel this would be necessary is as I stated in the last sentence I didn't have as much time to record so I couldn't get my point out well enough as I could.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers an array of skills to learn for jobs, These are Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. I feel like my project would connect to careers similar to Digital Multimedia because I have to use a camera and editing software to make my video. Also, I have to use stuff from the internet to display on my video

This project connects to careers in the video production field because I had to record a script for my video so I could show off what the pictures are and why I like a few of them. This lets people understand a lot more about the video and the contents inside of it. Also, I had to edit said video with transitions and text displaying what I was showing, this lets people see what I was trying to show in the video.
