On this project I am working
The things I need for this project is
My plan for this project is
The unique properties
name every part
take apart a chromebook
take apart a pc
take apart a Nintendo switch
take apart a Wii U
take apart a tv
take apart a printer
take apart PlayStation
take apart a mouse
take apart a monitor
Made page, asked for perms, added 10 things
Started taking apart laptop
Fully took apart laptop, named all the parts
Using reverse engineering, I took a chromebook apart because I wanted to learn about laptops. During this process, I learned what each part in a chromebook is and how to disassemble a chromebook safely.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I was learning the design of the chromebook. A challenge I overcame on this project was first opening the laptop. I was able to do it by using a flat-headed screwdriver to pry it open.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the thing I disassemble. The reason why I would change it is because the PC is different than the laptop. The pc would have different parts of different sizes and that would be a whole new experience.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in design and construction.
