8P1-Video

Using an I-pad, a computer, and I-movie, I created a video of things I did and I like to do in my summer, because I want to show the people the things I did and I like to do during summer, or at least a small part of it. I had to make a video of 30 to 60 seconds, so it didn't give me enough time to show everything but at least I showed a part of it. 

During this process, I learned the same as last year, which was that all the people that makes video or edits their videos needs to have a lot of time to make it. Because sometimes when you're editing a video it can be stressful when you think you have everything done but then you find that you forgot to write or put something in your video, which means that sometimes you would have to do it all again.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I' sharing the project with the world, and they can see my project. They can also get some ideas or answer questions with it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was when I was trying to save the video in my google drive but I forgot to sign in my google drive. I was able to do it by checking my google drive and see if I was signed in my google drive. Then I started to upload the video by second time and see if it worked.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the images or the duration of the video. The reason why I would change it is because I think my video is so basic and it needs more images and duration of the video, if I could change the limit of the duration of the video, I would because I think I was able able to make a better video if I could make a video longer than one minute.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Video Content Creator because I made a video about the things I like and it's shared with the world, which means the video is public and everyone can watch it. People can also watch it whenever they want and they can also share my video with someone else. Or they could use my video depends on the video I made to have an idea of what they want to do or how they can do it.
