7P2-Cardboard Challenge

Using cardboard, I created an XBOX, microphone, monitor because we needed a to show how the monitor works and show what we created.

During this process, I learned how to make a project out of cardboard.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because in order to carry out our Xbox project, it was necessary to carry out research on the topic on the Internet, taking into account the recommendations of verifying the authenticity and veracity of the information, which at first may be a little difficult, but as we learn more On the subject, it is easier to recognize trustworthy pages. Once we collected, organized and discussed the information collected, we proceeded to apply the knowledge acquired in the development of our project.

A challenge I overcame on this project was changing the project mid through. I was able to do it by getting started right away.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the cardboard into a thicker piece. The reason why I would change it is because the cardboard piece we used was flimsy.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School.

  My project connects to careers in Multimedia artist and animator, because when we made the xbox out of cardboard we needed to take a video to show what we created, and also in the video we showed how it works.
