7P3-Micro:Bit

Using a micro-bit, I created animated animals, the game of rock, paper, scissors, and more things because I think this is the easiest way that someone can learn about how to use the micro-bit.

During this process, I learned how to make codes for the micro-bit, and maybe how to program the codes.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I showed that the program worked how I expected, and I showed what I learned with this project.

A challenge I overcame on this project was to create a lot of projects and take the video. I was able to do it after I learned how to make codes for the micro-bit.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the type of  projects that I did. The reason why I would change this is because I think maybe I could do more projects, but with the time that I had, I had to go to other school events, and I can't do more projects.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Computer Programing because it wants me to make codes for the micro-bit and take videos about what I did in my project.
