7P4-Augmented Reality

Using a Merge Cube and CoSpaces, I created a Merge Cube Story because  I think this is the best way to learn something new and so hard to make.

During this process, I learned that is so hard to make a Merge Cube story in 7 days, but is so amusing to make a Merge Cube Story.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I'm telling a story using a simple visual programming interface and also I used the correct technology tools to make a Merge Cube Story.

A challenge I overcame on this project was to make 6 sides of the cube in 7 days and also the first 3 days of the project I didn't know how I can attach the buildings in the merge cube without the buildings falling down from the cube. I was able to do it by learning how to attach the buildings to the Merge Cube.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the type of story I made. The reason why I would change it is because I think I could do something better than this story.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Assistant Editor because I took notes of my project process and also I took photos of each day that I was doing the Merge Cube Story.
