Using a merge cube and the Co Space app, I created the candies escaping Candy Land  because it seemed like a creation that would be fun to do I also have never seen it done before and figured I could get creative with different settings and such. 

During this process, I learned multiple things could go wrong when doing a creation with technology so it's important to constantly look over everything to make sure you don't do a bunch of steps and then find out that you messed up a step and is not going to take a while to fix it. I also learned you need to be prepared to make a slight change in your project if something goes wrong, for example being limited on devices to record a video of your merge cube, you need to be ready to change your plan and maybe wait a little longer to record and you might also need to be prepared to fix something that may go wrong along the way. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I created another website just it's about designing a story, and by the time I am done with it, I will have published it to the world. Before I publish it, I go through and make sure my website is appropriate and meets the standards a website needs in order to be published. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was having to make a change in my first side of the cube because I had rotated the cube and then I look at the first side again and realized that all of my items on the first side of the cube had rotated slightly just enough to mess up the one first scene. I was able to do it by keeping the most important things in the scene and just rotating them as much as I could and some were still slightly rotated but I didn't have enough time to fix them and I got annoyed. Then I found some other objects that just weren't as important and I deleted them and some I didn't delete but they some how disappeared. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change as much detail as could. The reason why I would change it is because eventually some of those details got messed up during rotating the cube and it was just to much to fix. I also could've spent more time actually building the Candy Land and I could've made it way better than I did as in putting in more detail than just a couple pieces of candy and a bunch of blocks weirdly lined to make a small castle.  

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. The Augmented reality project ties to Digital Multimedia at the High School because we built a website, programmed a cube and used an app to make a story which would later be visible on a Merge Cube. We then took our videos and photos of the story and added them to our website and the we published the website. 

My project connects to careers in digital media manager because a digital media manager is responsible for a company's content from things like web designs. You post and design items and then post it on the company's website, you can also post it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
