Day 1 :  I logged on the iPad and started to find the images that I will use in my video. I had to make sure they were creative commons images. 

Day 2:  I logged into the iPad and continued looking for photos that were creative commons images. Once I had found my images, I went on YouTube and looked up videos about how to use the iMovie app. 

Day 3:  I logged onto the iPad and inserted my images in the iMovie app and added my titles and I added music.

Day 4: I logged onto the iPad and added sound affects.

Day 5:  I logged in the iPad and added my voice over/voice recording.

Reflection on my project:

• Using iMovie, an iPad, Creative Commons Picture, Music, and Sound Effects, I created a movie about my favorite holidays because those holidays/events are where I make the most memories with family and get to have fun and it's something I look forward to every year.

• During this process, I learned what the iMovie app was and that you could make videos in the app, I learned how to add images and how to edit things on them like sound effects, add filters to the images and add titles, also adding voice recordings. I learned that on Google, under images, there is a section with Creative Commons Images. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen and Knowledge Constructor because I used Creative Commons Images and I'm a Knowledge Constructor because I spent about a day researching how to use the iMovie app and other resources. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to crop some images and adding sound effects/cropping them . I was able to do it by continually trying different strategies to crop the images, I ending up moving that colored bar to a different spot or just not using that specific music or sound effect. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the music and possibly the pictures. The reason why I would change it is because I don't think the music matches the pictures too well and I would probably try to find a calmer but still joyful music. For the images I would search up different items in the search bar for creative common images in hopes of getting a bit of a different result.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in things like teaching, Pharmacist, Medical Research Scientist because a teacher have to use their knowledge to develop lesson plans and activities to help the students learn about the curriculum. It connects to a Pharmacist because they need to be knowledgeable about the medicines, dosages and what it can do to the human body and what medicines should be used for which sickness/disease. Medical Research scientists have to investigate human diseases and need to develop hypotheses and designs to study/test the disease.
