Using foam and magnets I created a floating car. I created a floating car because I thought it would be interesting and fun to do. I also created a floating car because I saw other people making making them, so I made one.
During this process, I learned that making a floating car out of foam and magnets easy. I also learned how to easily cut foam with hot wires. I also learned that if the slimmer your car is, the faster it will go.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I uploaded my video to my website so the world can see it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my iPad to work. I was able to do it by asking Mr. Renner for help. I was also able to do it by resetting my password to my iPad.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how lame the car looks. The reason why I would change it is because it looks dumb and basic. I would also get rid of the ridges on top.
