8P3 - Video Project 2

Using An iPad, iMovie, a greenscreen, and a microphone, I created an ad. I created an ad because I thought It would be funny to make. I also created an ad because I wanted to learn how to use a greenscreen.

During this process, I learned how to use a greenscreen. I also learned how to use a microphone. During this process I learned how to make a script.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I uploaded my video to my website so the world can see it. My project also ties to Computational Thinker because I had a problem with the greenscreen working, so I searched up tutorials on how to make the greenscreen work.

A challenge I overcame on this project was Making the green screen work. I was able to do it by searching up tutorials on how to make it work. I also overcame this problem by looking over all of the options in iMovie.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the sounds in the video. The reason why I would change it is because the sounds are obnoxious and annoying. Another reason why I would change it is because the sounds distract you from the video.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Marketing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in creating and editing ads.
