Using Tinkercad, Makey Makey, Mictobit, and a 3d Printer, I created a working WII Remote. I made a WII Remote because I thought it would be fun and interesting to create and play with. I also decided to make a WII remote because I was trying to think of an easier way to play a game on the computer.
During this process, I learned how to use Makey Makey and Microbit together. I also learned how to create a more complex design in Tinkercad. I also learned how to make the Makey Makey turn on the Microbit without using a mouse.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I uploaded my video to my website so the world can see it. My project also ties to Computational Thinker because I had a problem with making the Makey Makey compatible with the Microbit, so I started testing out ways for it to work
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the Makey Makey compatible with the Microbit. I was able to do it by trying different ways to make the Microbit work. I also had a problem with Getting the Microbit design from the computer to the Microbit, I overcame this problem by getting help from other people.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big and bulky the controller is. The reason why I would change it is because the spot for the Microbit to fit in is too big. Another thing I want to change is the curves on the controller because the controller right now is really boxy and is kind of sharp.

Daily log
Day 1: Today I started creating my daily log, list of 10 Good Ideas, and even started working on designing the video game controllers
Day 2: Today I continued designing the Wii remote
Day 3: Today I finished designing the WII remote in Tinker Cad and sent the 3d printing files to Mr. Renner so the remote could start printing.
Day 4: Today The WII remote is still 3d printing.
Day 5: Today I made all of the buttons out of aluminum foil.
Day 6: Today I got the Remote working and I made the video, I finally finished!
