I want to start with music
What unique qualities will your project have?
When i make a sensor I want it to be fast at sensing.
Daily log
Today i made a music code, answered my planning questions, and made my list of 10. I can't wait to try my music out tomorrow.
Today i made this code work and I worked on my other one I made today.
Today I made a siren and I made a magic wand but the video wont upload.
I wasnt here
I wasn't here
today i finished up old projects and made things better
Today for my last project I made a clap light. now I'm gonna start working on my video.
I put my video on my website and I did my reflection.
Spare videos and snip its
I made it represent a machine powering up and down.

Using a computer, iPad, Adafruit Circuit Playground Express, I created several codes because I enjoy building new projects and experimenting with technology. The Circuit Playground Express allowed me to explore different coding languages like MakeCode and CircuitPython, which made it fun to see my ideas come to life. I was able to control lights, sensors, and even create interactive projects that respond to motion or sound. It was exciting to challenge myself and learn how to make the board perform different tasks through coding.
During this process, I learned how to work with the Circuit Playground Express and discovered how to use its various features, like the sensors and LEDs, in my projects. I also gained experience with programming languages such as MakeCode and CircuitPython, which helped me control the different components of the board. This hands-on learning allowed me to better understand how electronics and coding work together to create interactive devices. It was a great opportunity to improve my problem-solving skills and creativity.
My project ties to the Global Collaborator standard because it involves sharing my work with the world. By creating and coding with the Circuit Playground Express, I can share my projects online and with others, contributing to a global community of learners and creators. This allows me to not only showcase my ideas but also learn from others' projects and improve my skills. The ability to collaborate with people around the world through technology makes the experience more meaningful and helps expand my knowledge
A challenge I overcame in this project was getting my codes to work properly. At first, I struggled with errors and wasn’t sure why my programs weren’t running as expected. However, I was able to solve the problem by asking for help from online resources and peers, and by trying different approaches to debug my code. Through persistence and learning from my mistakes, I was able to successfully complete my projects and gain a better understanding of coding and problem-solving.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the codes I created by exploring more complex programming tasks. The reason I would make this change is that I want to challenge myself further and learn how to build more advanced projects. By working with more complex codes, I would be able to develop a deeper understanding of coding concepts and improve my problem-solving skills. This would also allow me to create even more interactive and creative projects.
My project connects to the Computer Programming Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at Hastings High School. By using the Circuit Playground Express and coding with languages like MakeCode and CircuitPython, I explored key programming concepts such as logic, problem-solving, and debugging. This experience helped me better understand the skills and tools used in the computer programming field, which are essential for creating software and interactive devices. It also gave me a preview of what it might be like to further my education and career in programming through the CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in computer science because, like computer scientists, I worked with different online platforms and tools, such as Adafruit, to create and test my code. Computer scientists often collaborate with websites and software to build applications, solve problems, and create interactive technologies, similar to how I used resources like MakeCode and CircuitPython for my project. This experience gave me a glimpse into how computer scientists use coding and technology to develop solutions and contribute to the digital world.
