Im working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
I will just need a computer
What is your plan to create in this project?
i want to make maze
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will have someone chasing you while your trying to get out of the maze
Daily log
Today I made my list of 10 and answered my planning questions. I also started making my maze.
Today i tried to work on my VR but i hads to delete4 everything. it isn't going very well hope i can figure it out tomorrow
I was working on my 3D design project so i don't have any pictures
Today i finished my 3D project and then i continued working on my VR project.
I added more walls to make it look like a maze and then I looked at kylies world
Today i restarted because i could find my graph so everything was moved and i didnt like it. I made very good progress and tomorrow i will start decorating and add some other things.
I added the animals and i put Christmas stuff in the maze to make it christmas themed. And i made it be snowing and it is night time
I worked on my video today and i am almost finished.
Today i finished my video and I worked on my reflection

Reflection:
Using a computer and CoSpaces, I created a virtual maze because I thought it would be really cool to have the opportunity to design and build one myself. I’ve always been interested in how virtual spaces work, and CoSpaces gave me the chance to bring my ideas to life. It was exciting to create the maze from scratch, adding walls, paths, and challenges to make it fun and interactive. Being able to design something like this felt rewarding, and I’m glad I had the chance to do it!
During the process of creating my maze, I learned that it's important to plan ahead before jumping into building. At first, I just started placing blocks, but quickly realized that I needed a clearer idea of the layout. Drawing out a rough sketch of how the maze would look helped me organize my thoughts and made the building process much smoother. It also helped me avoid getting stuck or needing to redo sections of the maze later on. Planning ahead made a big difference in the final result!
My maze project connects to several of the class standards, especially since it was done using digital tools like CoSpaces on a computer. As an Empowered Learner, I took charge of my learning by deciding to create a virtual maze, using the tools at my disposal to explore my ideas. By working online, I practiced being a Digital Citizen, using technology responsibly and creatively. The project helped me become a Knowledge Constructor as I researched and planned how to build the maze, organizing information to create something meaningful. As an Innovative Designer, I was able to think outside the box and design something interactive that others could enjoy. I also used Computational Thinking by figuring out how to arrange blocks and obstacles logically to make the maze challenging but solvable. Through the process, I became a Creative Communicator, sharing my ideas in a digital space and presenting them through the maze. Finally, this project helped me understand the idea of being a Global Collaborator, since creating something digital like this could be shared and experienced by others anywhere in the world.
One challenge I faced during the maze project was having to restart because my blocks weren't aligned correctly on the grid, which made the maze look uneven and hard to navigate. Instead of getting frustrated, I decided to focus and work through the problem quietly, without getting distracted. By paying close attention to the grid and carefully placing each block, I was able to fix the issue and rebuild the maze the right way. This taught me the value of staying calm and focused when facing challenges and the importance of double-checking my work.
If I had the chance to do this project again, I would make sure to keep working even when I couldn’t see the grid. The reason I would change this is because when the grid disappeared, I didn’t realize my blocks were getting out of alignment, which caused me to have to restart the maze. Next time, I would either find a way to bring the grid back or use another method to make sure my blocks stayed lined up properly throughout the project. This way, I could avoid wasting time and prevent any mistakes from happening.
My maze project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School because I used digital tools and programming principles to design and create the maze. While I didn’t write complex code, I applied problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and an understanding of how to work with a digital environment—skills that are essential in computer programming. Through my project, I gained experience using technology to create something interactive, which is a key part of learning how to develop software and digital solutions in the Computer Programming field.
My maze project connects to careers in animation because animators use 3D design software to bring virtual worlds to life, just like I did with my maze. By creating and navigating through my own 3D environment, I experienced what it’s like to design a world and interact with it, similar to how animators create characters and settings in movies and video games. This process made me realize how animators use creativity and technology to make virtual experiences feel real, which is exactly what I did with my maze.
