7P7 - Circuit Playground Express

Reflection

• Using CoSpaces, iMovie, and Circuit Playground Express we created Flashing Fireworks. Also we created Mary had a Little Lamb song because we thought it would be fun to make. We thought it would be unique to make Mary had a Little Lamb on the Circuit Playground Express.

• During this process, I learned that Circuit Playground Express existed. Also I learned how to work with another person to get something done. I learned how to make a project by combining different ideas together to make it even better.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  Innovative Designer because I used trial and error to improve the project. It also ties to Innovative Designer because in the end, when I finished my project, I learned something new.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was working with a partner. I was able to do it by listening to their ideas and suggesting things to them. I also took their ideas to combine them with mine so that way we both have something we wanted in the project.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the Flashing Fireworks project. The reason why I would change it is because I would try to make it longer. I would also add more things to it, like sounds, so it doesn't just have flashing lights.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Computer Programmer and Software application developer.
